GB3AG, The Angus Glens repeater, came into operation in January 1997 due to the efforts of the members of the Strathmore & District Amateur Radio Club and the Central Scotland FM Group.  However, GB3AG is now fully funded by the Dundee Amateur Radio club & no longer part of the CSFMG.  The repeater is sited in the Sidlaw Hills mid-way between Forfar & Dundee. It provides mobile coverage throughout the County of Angus, as well as N.E. Fife, Dundee and the eastern edges of Perthshire. Prior to the Angus Glens repeater becoming operational, most of the county had no mobile repeater coverage at all. Dundee, at best, only had very patchy coverage from a 2m repeater. The A90 route between Edinburgh and Aberdeen, is now covered by GB3FF, GB3PR, GB3AG & GB3G
